Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Full Stack Web Developer to join our team - we invite you to take part in our exciting journey!
As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will play a key role in the formation and expansion of the Taliaz product. You will be required to quickly master Taliaz’s existing code base and help define the next generation of the product by both hands-on development as well as directing third party contractors.
The candidate will have the opportunity to significantly influence the future of the Taliaz PREDICTIX platform from both UI/UX and Algorithmic perspectives. The job is very challenging and very rewarding and suitable for a seasoned technologist with large corporate background experience that is looking to transition into a dynamic and passionate environment where the sky is the limit.
Responsibilities:
Maintain existing code base
Implement revision control system and practice
Document and direct the documentation of product code changes
Maintain and Develop UI as required by various user types (genetic lab technicians, physicians, patients…),
Improve and develop analytic engines as required to continuously improve the algorithms by using machine learning techniques, in collaboration with in-house scientists and bioinformaticians
Develop and direct the development of API’s to be used by business partners
Participate in the Architecture and Design of the Taliaz product system architecture
Serve as the software and technology go-to person for Taliaz scientists
Requirements:
PHP OOP (Laravel framework - Advantage)
MySQL
HTML, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap
API plan & code
Git & Jira
Python (Advantage)
Self-starter with very fast learning capabilities of new technologies
6 years’ experience as a software developer in a web services environment
Familiarity with:
User interface (UI) and user experience (UX)
Data security and privacy principles
Understanding customer and business needs
Experience with or the ability to learn Information security practices and regulatory requirements relevant to software tools in the medical field
Experience in the digital health sector
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
